On this pilgrimage we will...

Depart with Amy Betros from Buffalo on the morning of June 1 to catch a connecting flight in Philadelphia. From there we will take our trans-atlantic flight to Rome, Italy. We will arrive in Rome the morning of June 2.

We will take a shuttle to our guesthouse in Rome, located a 7-minute walk from St. Peter's Basilica.

During the next 3 days in Rome we will visit some of the most beautiful and holy churches and basilicas in the world, including: Saint Peter's Basilica, Saint John Lateran, Saint Mary Major, Saint Paul Outside the Walls, Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem, Saint Cecilia, Saint Mary Above Minerva, The Holy Steps, The Pantheon, Saint Clement and Saint Augustine. As well we will visit the

Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, go on the Scavi Tour under Saint Peter's Basilica, attend the Wednesday General Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square and visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum. At many of these sights are the tombs of saints, including: St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Monica, St. Catherine of Siena, St. John Paul II, St. John XXIII, St. Pius X, St. Cecilia and more, including the relics of the True Cross.

The morning of June 5, we will take a private shuttle to Assisi. We will spend two nights in Assisi, pray at the tombs of St. Francis and St. Clare, and view the San Damiano Cross which spoke to St. Francis and told him to rebuild the Church. On June 7th we will depart via private shuttle for Turin.

The following morning we will go to the Cathedral of Turin, built in the last years of the 15th century, to venerate the Shroud of Turin. The shroud will be on display for the first time in 5 years, and for 4 months only. We will also visit the tombs of St. John Bosco and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.

On June 9th we will depart for Lourdes, France. In Lourdes we will visit the Basilica of the Rosary, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, the Grotto of Massabielle where Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette and the house where St. Bernadette and her parents lived.

We return to Buffalo on June 12.
